Series 3 Still Available

I just noticed that in the Minifigures theme on LEGO Shop@Home, though series 4 of the Collectible Minifigures is available and marked as new, series 3 is still shown and marked available. If you missed out, go for some of these great figures and accessories.

Upcoming Minifigures Series 5 Pictures

Here are some pictures of the upcoming series 5 of the LEGO collectible Minifigures (I'm starting to notice a pattern here from past series: female Egyptian, cavewoman, dino-suit man, snowboarder, small clown... I think somebody's running out of ideas). Still pretty cool figures, nevertheless. The guard's hat, the detective's hat, the boxer's gloves, the zookeeper's monkey, the clown's pie, and the graduate's hat all look like pretty awesome accessories to try to get ahold of. I will publish the bump-code guide for all those who like to know what they're getting ASAP.

Star Wars Brickfilm

     I'm testing out my new Stop-motion animation program, iKit Movie, and made this short Lego Star Wars animation. Animating has been my hobby for a few years now, and I will begin to post more Brickfilms in the future. I haven't added sound to this one yet...

10221 Super Star Destroyer Executor

LEGO has announced that the Executor, Darth Vader's personal battle cruiser, will be released as an Ultimate Collector Series set on September 1, 2011. It is to feature four minifigures: Darth Vader, Admiral Piett, Dengar, and Bossk, along with an IG-88 droid. It will measure over 4 feet long and will have a collector stand with a data sheet. But, it has been noticed that the word "Turbolaser" has been incorrectly spelled as "Turoblaser" on the stand. It will have a price tag of $399.99 when released at LEGO Shop@Home and Brand Retail stores.
